HERNO
Founded in 1948 by Cavaliere del Lavoro Giuseppe Marenzi, the company started producing men's raincoats with the collaboration of Alessandra Diana, Marenzi's wife. The company also rapidly developed collections of raincoats for women and subsequently expanded its range to cashmere coats, specializing in reversible garments. Since the Seventies, the women's collection has been completed with the introduction of jackets, skirts, and suits, while the men's line stays true to the production of outerwear. In the Nineties, Herno also started producing for other established brands, such as Jil Sander, Armani, Prada, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren. Aware of its brand strength and of its company history, the Maison blends tradition and modernity in the Herno products, through the search for technical high-performance fabrics.
