MOREAU PARIS, TIMELESS FRENCH TRADITION

A maison that has been able to find an iconic and timeless style becomes part of our boutiques.

It was 1882 when the story of Moreau Paris began. Martin-Guillaume Biennais, revolutionary cabinetmaker and official supplier of Emperor Napoleon I, affirms his experience within the exclusive circle of luxury leather goods manufacturers. Then, a phase in which the artisans take their places and found the Maison, putting the roots at the base of the power of luxury that it is today. The official Moreau store opens at 49 rue Saint-Honoré, in Paris, becoming a fundamental international center for the modern jet-set. The Maison has combined tradition and innovation in cultivating its own authentic style, creating an inimitable collection of bags and suitcases. The design of Maison Moreau is characterized by an iconic motif, inspired by the intertwining of wicker stems, which formed the structure of several travel items at the end of the 19th century. This signature print is reinvented on calfskin with a traditional printing technique that uses a semi-manual paint application, creating vibrant, deep colors. The authenticity of Maison Moreau is therefore the result of exceptional French know-how, both in the manufacturing process and in the selection of the materials used. Paying homage to the French heritage, Maison Moreau designs timeless selections that are functional, light, elegant, and customizable for everyday use.
